| So I'm trying to replace some leaky power steering hoses. I've been rather unimpressed with the OEM hose clamps (pic below compliments of Z1) as they really dig into the rubber, seem determined to leak with time, and can be a real PIA if you unscrew them so far as to loose the bottom half -- yeah, you know what I'm talking about!
Other options include using the spring loaded coolant clamps but they likely can't hold real pressure.
A TT.net search for good hose clamps resulted in me finding these on the Wicks site. Seem pretty good running between $1-$2 a piece.
Then there are the typical worm gear and T-bolt clamps available at NAPA, Advanced Auto, AutoZone, PB, etc. which typically exude and eat up the rubber hoses.
What is your recommended source for quality hose clamps to be used in the power steering system?
